On this unusual 2-hour tour of Colmar, you’ll discover this charming town in the Haut-Rhin as you’ve never seen it before.
We’ll venture into the narrow streets of Little Venice, those neglected by tourists, to tell you all about the history of Colmar. We’ll see remnants of the fortifications that surrounded the town in the Middle Ages, but we’ll also discover hidden treasures along the way.
Then we’ll head to Colmar’s Imperial Quarter, where you’ll learn more about the German period from 1871 to 1918. Here, you’ll see Colmar’s major and monumental architectural remains, such as the Court of Appeal and the huge Château d’Eau.
This visit will also be the perfect time to talk about local street art and the statues that adorn the town, which will tell you a lot about Colmar’s many heroes such as Auguste Bartholdi, the sculptor of the Statue of Liberty in New-York City !
